A 31-year-old man in Florida claiming to have coronavirus allegedly spat on a policeman.

James Jamal Curry was arrested on domestic violence charges. During the arrest, he declared he was infected with COVID-19. Then he coughed on the police officer’s arm, according to FOX News.

He then posted bail. He was arrested again the very next day. That time, still claiming he had COVID-19, he spat inside the mouth of a policewoman, according to the prosecutors

The article says that his test results were negative. 

“James Jamal Curry, 31, was served an indictment by a federal grand jury in Tampa Wednesday for perpetrating a biological weapon hoax, the Associated Press reported”, according to FOX News. The suspect is now facing a federal terrorism charge and could be imprisoned for 5 years.
