A Colorado man allegedly shot an employee from a Waffle House one day after employees told him to wear a face mask inside the restaurant.

On Monday, police arrested Kelvin Watson and charged him with attempted murder, according to this article.

After midnight Thursday, Watson came to the restaurant. The staffers asked him to wear a mask. Employees told him they cannot serve him unless he wears a mask, according to CBS

A waitress said that Watson allegedly left and restaurant with a mask in his hand, but refused to wear it. He then returned, placed the gun on the counter, threatening the cook : “I can blow your brains out right now”, says the article.

According to police reports as quoted by ABC, the following day, Watson returned and slapped the cook across the face as the cook denied to serve him. Watson then shot the cook in the chest. The victim is now recovering in hospital.
