A video that has gone viral on TikTok allegedly shows a passenger using cling wrap to create her own “business class” seat out of three economy seats. As reported by Aerotime, the now-infamous video depicts the woman meticulously wrapping the seats in plastic while other passengers look on in disbelief.

The video then shows a flight attendant approaching the woman and attempting to undo her makeshift seat. The passenger becomes visibly upset and begins to argue with the flight attendant, repeatedly asking for the rules that prohibit her from creating her own business class seat.

Authenticity of Video Unclear

While the video has been viewed millions of times, its authenticity is still unclear. Some commenters have suggested that it may be a customer service training exercise for flight attendants rather than an actual incident. However, given the bizarre behavior of some real-life passengers, it wouldn’t be surprising if this were indeed a genuine occurrence.

One thing that is clear is that the video provides no details about the airline or destination of the flight. There also appear to be only three other passengers on board besides the woman filming the incident.

Despite the passenger’s tantrum, the flight attendant remains calm and patient as he methodically removes the cling wrap from the seats. His professionalism in dealing with such a difficult situation is commendable.
