The woman was being interviewed on local news about the lack of social distancing in a park in Toronto, Canada. Crowds gathered in a city park, disregarding health guidelines, on May 23rd, according to CityNews.
She was saying that she thinks masks aren’t that important before getting kissed by the stranger.
The story went viral on Twitter with dozens of enraged people calling it sex assault, threatening to take the man to court on behalf of the woman and calling kissing “gross”, according to BlogTO.
The local TV channel ended up issuing an apology for running the clip on their news segment, according to the article.
